Panamanian Director of Photography Carlos Arango de Montis graduated from the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba and has over 20 years experience in film and video. He has worked on over 15 feature films and documentaries, including "The Act of Killing," winner of various awards, such as Best Documentary 2014 at BAFTA, The European Film Awards and the Danish Film Academy Awards, as well as the winning the Audience Award at the Berlinale and being nominated in the Best Documentary category at the 2014 Oscars; The Italian-Brazilian co-production "Strada 47," which won Best Picture at the Festival de Gramado in Brazil; The documentary "Julio Cesar Chavez," directed by Diego Luna; "Ezra," a French production shot in Rwanda; "Rage," produced in England; and "Ciclo," the documentary directed by Andrea Martinez (Mexico), among others.
